The Polinema Central Library coordinates services with the PSDKU Library

In order to coordinate the services of the Polinema Central Library with libraries outside the main campus, on January 12-13 2023 the Polinema Central Library made its first visit to the PSDKU Pamekasan Library. Then the second and third visits were carried out at other PSDKU campuses from March 15 to March 17 2023 carrying out visits to the Kediri PSDKU Library and Lumajang PSDKU Library. The agenda is a routine activity carried out by the Polinema Central Library in the context of assistance related to services available throughout the Polinema Library environment.

At PSDKU Pamekasan, the Polinema Central Library provides assistance related to library automation activities, by implementing library automation so that users can access it online regarding collection data owned by the PSDKU Pamekasan Library. Besides that, it can also facilitate the process of processing and reporting data both borrowing, visiting and knowing the number of collections owned.

Then, the next visit was to the Kediri PSDKU Library. In this case, the Kediri Library, as the first campus outside the main campus, has implemented library automation. The visit of the Polinema Central Library to the Kediri PSDKU Library in the framework of assistance and information regarding stock taking activities and the process of managing books so that they are uniform with the center.

The third visit was held at the Lumajang PSDKU Library. This visit was devoted to implementing library automation at PSDKU Lumajang in order to support learning activities and facilitate the process of managing library collections. In addition, uniformity in the management of library collection data is also emphasized so that all collections owned are the same as those at the center in the management process, starting from filling in bibliographical metadata to using transferred book cover images as a means to facilitate the process of retrieval of library material collections.

Coordination between the Central Polinema Library and libraries throughout PSDKU is still carried out by means of remote communication and monitored by the administrator and the Head of the Polinema Library. The hope of this monitoring activity is to achieve standardization of collection management within the Polinema Library so that later it can be integrated into a unified whole on the library.polinema.ac.id page as a means of information retrieval.
