Polinema Library Successfully Holds a Book Review Webinar Talk Show “Material Technology”

POLINEMA Library hosted a book review webinar talkshow titled “Material Technology,” which was sponsored by Andi Publisher. The Heads and Secretaries of the Departments, as well as POLINEMA students, participated in this hybrid activity. Prof. Ir. Syamsul Hadi, MT., Ph.D., a Mechanical Engineering professor at POLINEMA, wrote the book for this activity. POLINEMA Director Supriatna Adhisuwignjo, ST., MT., Assistant Director IV Ratih Indri Hapsari, ST., MT., Ph.D., and Andi Publisher Publishing Manager Edy S. Mulyanta signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation Agreement at the event.

In his remarks, the Director of POLINEMA stated that POLINEMA, as a provider of vocational education, cannot be separated from reference books to assist students in taking lectures. The library’s role is critical in providing various literacy resources required by lecturers, students, and the community. The availability of textbooks is critical for students to use when attending lectures. “We thank Prof. Syamsul for publishing books, one of which was co-authored with Andi Publisher and titled “Material Technology,” which will be discussed with our resource person, Prof. Djarot,” said the Director.

Two experts in their fields reviewed the book. Edi S. Mulyanta, the Publishing Manager at Andi Publisher, was the first surgeon. Prof. Ir. Djarot Bangun Darmadi, MT., Ph.D., of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Brawijaya, is the second surgeon. Dr. Muhammad Sinal, S.H., M.H. is the Head of Public Relations at POLINEMA and serves as the activity’s moderator. (Yuda)
